Havas Media Group has promoted managing director Paul Frampton to chief executive of its UK and Ireland business.
His promotion follows group managing director Pedro Avery’s move to head up the Havas Sports and Entertainment network.
Frampton is credited with aligning the management teams for Havas Media Group’s Havas Media, Arena Media, Forward Media and Havas Sport and Entertainment brands alongside agencies DBi, AIS London and Arnold KLP. He also played a key role in expanding the group to the North West with the opening of Havas Village Manchester. Consequently, Havas Ireland will also be part of his remit.
Dominique Delport, global managing director of Havas Media Group, said: “Paul is an energetic and visionary leader. He was one of the first in the group to leverage our meaningful connections and organic marketing propositions, laying the foundations for him to create a new, more integrated and flexible style of agency in the UK. This strategy has already delivered tangible benefits to our clients and our teams. I am fortunate to have such a talented executive leading the Havas Media Group in the UK and Ireland.”
